Party at Work! Immersive Art Exhibition
"Party at Work" was an immersive art experience created by Cima Arts, a Dallas-based arts nonprofit organization. It provided an immersive experience for partygoers by creating an artistic party experience themed around the typical 9-5 office job. This event had a total attendee turnout of 400+ guests.
Event Flyer
Social Media Flyer Promotion
Post Caption
For the social media campaign, I promoted the event flyer created by a commissioned graphic designer, using brand kits and references I provided. The caption was crafted by me, leveraging my copywriting skills to ensure all the necessary information was easily accessible to the audience. To achieve a broad audience reach, I focused on hiring well-known DJs in Dallas. Moreover, due to the success of the previous marketing campaign, Cima Arts began to gain a consistent following, which in turn led to more loyal audience attendance at their events. This flyer post alone garnered 480 likes, 534 shares, and 135 saves on Instagram.
Paid Online Reach
With Cima Arts being a nonprofit organization, the budget required flexibility and effective strategies for optimal financial performance. Through Meta Business Suite, I created a successful 2-day advertisement. I targeted the specific audience within the age ranges of 20-35 years old, since that is the typical audience for the organization. Additionally, I targeted a radius of suburbs surrounding Dallas and individuals interested in specific topics such as "arts and music", "nightlife", and "media and entertainment" to expand the local reach.
Additional Instagram Posts for the Event Campaign
In addition to the paid ad campaign, we continued our organic promotional efforts with the organization's current following. Cima Arts partnered with a local media company to create a promotional video for the event. Due to the collaboration, no spending occurred, allowing the organization to see an overall increase in revenue. I posted and created the caption once the media team finished editing the video. In the caption, I reiterated what the flyer post said, allowing for a new audience to receive the information through Instagram Reels.
Direct Marketing
By appropriately allocating the budget, promotional efforts were extended through direct marketing, which involved hanging posters in popular Dallas locations such as Bishop Arts, Deep Ellum, and Jefferson Street, for optimal promotional reach.
Post-Event Social Media Marketing
Partnering with the same Dallas media company, Cima Arts continued its promotional efforts online to ensure consistency in content and event recaps. Together with the Cima Arts team, we created a comedic post-event video. Once the editing team finished, I utilized my copywriting skills to craft the Instagram Reel and its caption. I aimed to post at prime times, ideally when people are more active on social media, such as during their lunch breaks or in the evenings after work. This strategy enabled me to maintain a consistent online presence, expand the audience for future growth, and ultimately spread the mission of the organization, increase ROI, and foster future partnerships and sponsorships.
